JAMMU, Nov 15: DBN Amarvilla celebrated its Annual Day 2025 with grandeur and patriotism, themed “Operation Sindoor – Veerta Ka Abhinandan”, honouring the courage and resilience of the nation.
The event was graced by chief guest MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, along with special guests Prof. Ajay Khajuria, Major General (Retd) Shiv Kumar Sharma and Rajat Mengi. The management and leadership of DBN Trust, including Manager Rajendra Kakkar, Co-Manager Darshan Lal and Assistant Manager Valvinder Singh, presided over the occasion, while Principals Neetu Gupta (SNS), Priya Singh (DBN MM) and Ranju Malhotra (DBN Amarvilla) highlighted academic and co-curricular achievements.
The programme began with the ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by the welcome address and Annual Report Presentation. The cultural segment featured the Invocation Dance – Vandana, thematic performance “Operation Sindoor – Saluting the Spirit of Courageous India”, Kashmiri and Dogri dances, and a felicitation ceremony recognizing outstanding students and teachers, including Anil Nanda, Nisha Sharma, Anjana Manhas and Sunita Devi.
Arvind Gupta praised the school for instilling patriotism and social responsibility, lauded the efforts of frontline contributors, and congratulated students and staff for the inspiring presentation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Darshan Lal, celebrating courage, unity, and devotion to the nation.
