JAMMU, Aug 24: The 2nd Day of 14th J&K-UT Shooting Championship witnessed intense competition at IDPS Shooting Range, Sunjwan, and DYSS Shooting Range, Gandhi Nagar. Events were held in the 10M Air Rifle NR and Air Pistol NR categories for both men and women.
Aarav Khatia of Mission Olympic Shooting Academy Jammu topped the 10M Air Pistol (Men) with a score of 353, while Vedanshi Mahajan, also from the same academy, scored 352 in the women’s event. Bhavya Sharma from AIM 10X Shooting Academy led the 10M Air Rifle (Women) with 389 and Dharya Kotwal of MOSAJ scored 381 in the men’s category.
Shooters from various districts and clubs across J&K UT participated. The matches are being overseen by a technical panel of the J&K Rifle Association under the supervision of Organizing Secretary Sharat Chander Singh.
