JAMMU, Aug 29: The traditional wrestling event, Dangal, organized by the 9Gaj Peer Nandpur Tibba Dangal Committee in Nandpur Arnia, witnessed a fierce competition with over 50 wrestlers from Jammu and Kashmir and neighboring states.
The final bout between wrestlers Kaka and Rashid ended in a thrilling draw, showcasing their endurance and skill. Dr. Rajeev Bhagat, MLA Bishnah, attended as the chief guest and commended the organizers for promoting wrestling and providing a platform for young athletes.
Dr. Bhagat presented trophies to both Kaka and Rashid, honoring their exemplary sportsmanship. The event attracted a large, enthusiastic crowd, including prominent personalities like Capt Bodh Raj Choudhary, Ex-Sarpanch Raj Choudhary, Master (Retd) Rattan Lal, Lambardar Natha Singh, Labha Ram Gandhi and Arjun Kumar.
