JAMMU, Nov 28: Cluster University of Jammu (CUJ) organized the Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho (Men) Tournament, at GGM Science College here today, marked by enthusiastic participation and spirited sportsmanship.
Dr (Prof) Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal of the College, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Dr Vinod Bakshi, Director, Physical Education & Sports, CUJ, attended as the guest of honour.
The Tournament witnessed participation from two teams-GGM Science College and Government SPMR College of Commerce. In a closely fought and highly competitive match, SPMR College of Commerce emerged as the champion, winning by a narrow margin of just one point.
The nail-biting final concluded with a score of 18-17, reflecting the intensity and determination displayed by both sides. Manav Singh from GGM Science College was declared the ‘Best Player of the Match’ for his exceptional performance.
The event was attended by Prof Bandan Sharma, Prof Chaman Lal and Ravi Kumar, Physical Director, SPMR College of Commerce.
The match was officiated by Sahil Dev Singh, Sunil Sharma, Sahil Kumar, Sahil Angural and Angrez Singh.
