JAMMU, Oct 31: The Men’s and Women’s Fencing teams of Cluster University of Jammu are set to participate in the All India Inter-University Fencing (Men & Women) Tournament, scheduled to be held from November 2 at Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar.
The participation of Cluster University in this prestigious national-level tournament underscores its commitment to promoting sports excellence and providing student-athletes with opportunities to demonstrate their talent, discipline and competitive spirit. Both teams have undergone intensive training sessions under the expert guidance of coaches and physical directors to prepare for the event and are confident of delivering impressive performances.
Vice-Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu, interacted with the players and conveyed his best wishes for their success. He encouraged them to exhibit dedication, discipline and true sportsmanship while bringing laurels to the university. Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director, Directorate of Physical Education & Sports, also motivated the players and assured continuous support for the promotion of sports and fitness among students.
