CUJ Annual Sports Meet concludes

JAMMU, Feb 13: Annual Sport Meet at Central University of Jammu (CUJ) concluded here today.
The teams of various Departments participated in the Meet and vied for the top honours.
The students of various Department’s played carrom, table tennis and badminton on the last day of the Meet today.
The games were played at varsity’s temporary block in Sainik Colony, Jammu.
In badminton women singles, Sarita from the Department of EVS defeated Monica Chib of Mathematics Department, while in table tennis men’s doubles, Neeraj and Bhavik from the Department of HRM,OB defeated Prince Tandon and Askhdeep of the Department of Computer Sciences.
In carom, Vrinda from the Department of EVS outplayed Udita of the Department of Computer Sciences.
The Tournament had commenced on February 4, 2015.
The Sports Meet was conducted under the supervision of Dean Student Welfare (DSW), Prof N R Sharma.
On the occasion of concluding ceremony of the Meet, the DSW complimented the students and scholars who participated and performed well in the Meet.
He also thanked faculty members and other staff members of the University for their support to make the meet successful.
