JAMMU, May 19: Crescent Public School, Janipur, conducted a programme to induct the newly elected School Council for the academic year 2025-26. The event was graced by chief guest Vivek Shekhar Sharma (SP City North Jammu), special guest Vikram Sharma (SHO Janipur), Chairman Arshad Ali Choudhary, Managing Director Tasneem Kausar, Academic Director Mobeen Syeed and Principal Dr. Bhavna Kaushal.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome, bouquet presentation and the symbolic lamp lighting titled “Illuminating Excellence”, followed by a soulful dance performance “God Grace – The Dance of Divine Wisdom”. Students then sang the school anthem “Harmony of Knowledge.”
Chairman Arshad Ali Choudhary and Principal Dr. Kaushal highlighted the values of leadership, integrity and responsibility in their addresses. The Oath-Taking Ceremony saw newly elected council members pledging to fulfill their duties with sincerity. Badges and sashes were conferred to mark their official roles.
Chief guest inspired students to embrace leadership and cautioned against the rising threat of drug abuse, urging all to say “No to Drugs.” The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Academic Director Mobeen Syeed.
