JAMMU, June 1: Projecting their long pending demands, the Jammu based employees of Sports Council held a protest rally under the banner of J&K State Sports Council Employees Union in front of Sports House, MA Stadium, here today.
The protestors raised slogans in favour of their long pending demands and against the administration on the occasion.
The demands projected during the protest included the release of 40 per cent arrears of 6th Pay Commission in cash in favour of the employees, regularization of the left out casual employees and contractual coaches at an earliest and implementation of transfer policy in letter and spirit.
Union president, Vikramjeet Singh said that despite repeated reminders and submission of memorandums, the administration is paying no heed to their demands, adding that the attitude of the administration may force the employees to take the agitational path.
