JAMMU, Jan 27: Jammu’s premier finance quiz was organized by the Department of Commerce, School of Social Sciences, Cluster University of Jammu, in collaboration with Zerodha Varsity and Q Shala.
The event was held here today at the Government SPMR College of Commerce. A total of 75 teams, each consisting of three students, from various schools and departments of Cluster University of Jammu, participated in the competition.
The event concluded with the award of cash prizes. The first prize of Rs 12,000 was awarded to a team from MAM College (Rishu Kumar, Suheer Masrat, Shaan Khajuria). The second prize of Rs 9,000 went to a team from the School of Social Sciences (Neelk Singh, Sourav Chalotra, Muskan Sahil), and the third prize of Rs 3,000 was given to a team from GCW Gandhinagar (Sona Singh, Ayushi Langeh, Lavanya Jamwal),
Held under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof K S Chandrasekar, the event was attended by Ankur Mahajan (Registrar, CLUJ), Controller of Examination (Dr Ranvijay Singh), Dr Rajinder Singh (Principal, SPMR College of Commerce), Prof Raj Shree Dhar (Dean Student Welfare), Dr Satinder Kour (Dean Research Studies), Prof Mohd Zubair Kales, Prof Monika Sharma, Prof Chander Shekhar Gupta, Deans, Schools of Cluster University of Jammu and Principals of Constituent Colleges. The others who were present in the event were Dr Vishal Sharma (Dean, School of Social Sciences, CLUJ), Dr Neetu Kumari (Coordinator, Commerce), Faculty members of School of Social Sciences, Nodals and students from Schools and Colleges of Cluster University of Jammu.
