NAGROTA, Dec 7: Chinar Primary School, the junior wing of Sainik School Nagrota here today organized its annual day function.
The event was presided over by Capt (IN) Shibu Devasia, Chairman, as chief guest, who also presented awards to the winners of various competitions held during the academic session 2024-25.
The program under the theme ‘Vibrant India’ commenced with a warm welcome followed by the ceremonial lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest.
The cultural extravaganza began with a captivating welcome dance and a melodious welcome song by the school choir. A series of mesmerizing performances marked the day.
Renu, Teacher In-Charge, presented the Annual Report of the School.
The chief guest later distributed prizes to students excelling in various competitions and presented certificates of appreciation to teachers, acknowledging their unwavering dedication and hard work.
In a moment of triumph, Nehru House was declared the overall winner of the Academic Session 2024-25, while Tagore and Gandhi Houses secured second and third positions, respectively.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
