Chander, Deepak help SCC to make it to final

JAMMU, June 27: Splendid inning of 62 runs by Chander and four wickets haul by Deepak Dogra helped Shastri Cricket Club (SCC) to crush Bhole Nath Cricket Club (BNCC) and to made it to the final of the ongoing 1st Summer T-20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Lieutenant Thakur Dass Cricket Club Akhnoor, at GGM Science College hostel ground, here today.
Batting first, SCC made 165 runs by losing 8 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Chander chipped in some crispy shots and made 62 runs, while Decker chipped in 41 runs and Arvind made 14 runs.
From BNCC side, Happy scalped 3 wickets, while Raman took 2 wickets. Venus and Bunty clinched one wicket apiece.
In the second inning, BNCC failed to chase the target and collapsed at 143 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Raman was the top scorer with 35 runs, while Happy made 28 runs and Ishaan chipped in 19 runs.
From SCC side, Deepak Dogra was wrecker-in-chief, who scalped 4 wickets, while Akash took 2 wickets. Aman and Varun clinched 1 wicket each.
Chander of SCC was adjudged as Man of the Match for his brilliant batting performance.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Madan Lal as umpires, while Sandeep Manchanda acted as scorer.
