Carmel Convent School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Oct 17: Carmel Convent School, Jammu celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm, showcasing the talents of students from Pre-Primary to Class VI. The event was honoured by the presence of Bishop Ivan Pereira, chief guest and President of the Education Society of the Diocese, along with SSP Joginder Singh as the guest of honour.
Station House Officer (SHO), Satveer Singh (Gangyal), Baldev Singh Billawaria, and Corporator Anil Kumar from Ward no. 55 were also present on the occasion.
The statement said this year’s theme, “Peace through Creation,” reflected the school’s commitment to ecology and environmental preservation. Students performed skits that emphasized the importance of creation and the need for environmental conservation, conveying a vital message that peace can be fostered through mindful care for the planet. The performances captivated the audience, particularly the students’ proud parents, who were treated to a feast of creativity, colour, and purpose.
