Capacity building program for DYSS DPCs, ADPCs concludes

JAMMU, Jan 6: A two-day capacity building and skill development training programme organized by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) J&K concluded today with a valedictory function.
The training programme was conducted by experts and resource persons from the Institute of Mass Communication and Skill Development (IMCSD) and focused on overall skill and personality development, professional photography, social media handling, basic drone orientation, preparation of PowerPoint presentations, office drafting, and event documentation.
More than 40 District Publicity Coordinators (DPCs) and Assistant District Publicity Coordinators (ADPCs) from all 20 districts of the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory participated in the programme.
The resource persons who delivered expert sessions in their respective domains included Vikas Sharma, Managing Director/CEO, IMCSD, Dr Vishal Sharma, Vicky Verma, Pankaj Gupta, and Mohit Sharma.
The valedictory function was attended by Anuradha Gupta, Director General, DYSS J&K, accompanied by Megha Baogia, Deputy Director (Planning), DYSS.
The Director General distributed certificates among the trainees. While addressing, he expressed hope that the programme would significantly enhance the professional efficiency of DPCs and ADPCs, enabling them to perform their duties with greater competence, confidence and professionalism in the field.
