At Subash Stadium, Anantnag defeated Ramban by four wickets, showcasing disciplined cricket and teamwork. The match was attended by DySP DAR Jatinder Sambyal, who urged youth to avoid substance abuse and pursue sports under the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan." In the second match, Budgam comprehensively beat Pulwama, restricting them to 79 runs, with Uzair Majid, Shahid and Basit taking three wickets each. Budgam comfortably chased the target in 13.1 overs, with notable performances by Faisal Gul and Munazil. Shashi Sharma, Physical Director, highlighted the role of sports in physical fitness, mental well-being, and personality development. The final will feature Budgam vs Anantnag, with the Department appreciating the competitive spirit, discipline, and sportsmanship displayed by all teams and acknowledging the efforts of officials, coaches, and organizing staff.
