BSF School organizes Inter-House Athletic Meet

JAMMU, Dec 18: BSF School, Paloura organized Inter-House Athletic Meet in its School premises, here today.
Principal, Dr SS Khokhar was the chief guest on the occasion, who inaugurated the event by unfurling the sports flag of the school.
In his inaugural address the chief guest emphasized the importance of Games and Sports in bringing out the hidden talent, developing challenging spirit, the spirit of cooperation, discipline, tolerance and the quality of leadership besides physical fitness which are very important in modern era of competition.
The event began with March past by all the Houses of the school. Later, the programme was followed by athletic events including 100 mtrs, 200 mtrs, 400 mtrs, 800 mtrs race, 4×100 mtrs, 4×400 mtrs, relay race, shot put and javelin throw.
Over 100 students participated in all the events with great zeal and enthusiasm. The best contingent trophy in boys was awarded to Raman House and in girls to Gandhi House.
Principal, Dr SS Khokhar gave away the prizes to the winners on the occasion and boosted their morale.
The event concluded with national anthem and the vote of thanks was presented by Veer Ji Pandita.
