JAMMU, Aug 23: Defeating Presentation Convent by four goals to one (4-1) in the summit clash, BSF School Paloura lifted the handball girls’ title in the ongoing Jammu district Inter-School Tournament, here today.
Richa and Tayiba displayed superb skills to score 3 and one goal for the winners respectively. Earlier, in the first semifinal, Presentation Covent defeated APS Domana by three goals to one (3-1), while in second semifinals, BSF Paloura drubbed GHSS Mubarak Mandi by four goals to one (4-1).
The tournament was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu, while the matches were officiated by Ajay Sharma, Sanjay Jamwal, Gourav Sharma, Joginder Sharma and Narayan.
