JAMMU, Feb 11: BN Higher Secondary School, Sunjwan, marked its Annual Fest with a vibrant celebration, drawing a large crowd of students, faculty and dignitaries. The event was graced by Muneer Hussain Choudhary, Nodal Officer, Ayushman Bharat, J&K UT, who attended as the chief guest. The special guests included Kamal Singh Jamwal, former Corporator of Channi Rama and Vishal Sharma, Chairman of BUCK School, Kalakote.
The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a heartfelt welcome address by the school’s Principal, Assia Banday, who spoke on the school’s commitment to holistic education. A PowerPoint presentation by Anju Kumari, Coordinator of the Junior Wing, highlighted the school’s progress.
The students captivated the audience with an array of cultural performances, including folk dances, musical renditions and skits. Managing Director, Wasim Kohli, praised the students’ performances and emphasized the importance of extracurricular activities in fostering leadership and creativity.
The chief guest, Muneer Hussain Choudhary, appreciated the school’s efforts in nurturing young talent and encouraging excellence. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony recognizing academic and extracurricular achievements, followed by a vote of thanks by Rifat, Lecturer in English.
