Bisla helps ASKCC Kathua to register emphatic win

KATHUA, Dec 27: International cricketer and IPL star, Manvinder Bisla scored masterful 67 runs to help Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club (ASKCC) Kathua register a resounding win over Shabnam Cricket Club Hoshiarpur in the ongoing Police Martyrs Memorial North Zone Inter-Club T20 Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium, here today.
Earlier, Shabnam Cricket Club Hoshiarpur won the toss and elected to bat first and set a target of 100 runs in18.3 overs. Love Kumar scored 24 runs in 20 balls with 4 boundaries, while Vikram contributed 19 runs in 27 balls. Rahul of Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua took 3 wickets by giving away 19 runs in four overs. Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua easily chased the target and won the match by 8 wickets. Manvinder Bisla of Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua, who scored 67 runs off  just 45 balls was declared man of the match and presented with a cash prize of Rs 1500 and a trophy.
