REASI, July 28: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Reasi, conducted the Inter-School Zonal Level Competitions for Under-19 Boys in multiple disciplines, including Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Chess and Yoga. The event was held under the dynamic leadership of Tarsem Singh, District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO), Reasi.
The event was inaugurated by Asha Devi, who warmly welcomed the participating teams and encouraged students to take part in sports with dedication, discipline and enthusiasm.
Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Reasi delivered an outstanding performance across categories. In Volleyball, BHSS Reasi defeated Higher Secondary School Tote by 2–1 in a competitive final. In Kabaddi, they overpowered HSS Aghar Jitto with a convincing 31–08 win. The Kho-Kho team of BHSS Reasi also triumphed over HSS Aghar Jitto with a score of 12–09. In Chess, Varinder Singh of BHSS Reasi defeated Pranav Singh of GHS Aghar Jitto. In Yoga, BHSS Reasi’s Munish Kumar, Balvinder Thakur, Ankush Singh, Rahul Kohli and Rahul Thappa were top performers.
