Bhisham named Vice President of AIPA

JAMMU, Sept 27: Bhisham Batra was appointed Vice President of the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA) during the General Meeting held in Jammu. The announcement was made by AIPA President Arvind Prabhu in the presence of state officials from across India.
A passionate entrepreneur, Batra has been instrumental in promoting pickleball nationally. He played a key role in organizing the 9th AIPA National Pickleball Championship in Jammu (Sept 26-28), which saw over 450 players from 24+ states – the highest participation in the event’s history.
President Prabhu praised Batra’s leadership, highlighting his dedication and organizational skills. As Vice President, Batra will focus on expanding infrastructure, increasing player opportunities, and making pickleball a widely played sport in India, strengthening the country’s global presence in the game.
