UDHAMPUR Apr 11: Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur organized two days College Sports Meet, which concluded in its College Campus, here today.
Students from various Colleges of district Jammu, Kathua and Udhampur participated in the meet.
On the first day, Badminton and Table tennis (Boys and Girls) matches were held. Badminton  match  (Boys category) was won by Bhartiya College of Education by defeating New Age College of Education Billawar with scores 2-0 and Girls category was won by Bhartiya College of Education from Bhaskar Degree College with scores 2-0 (21-8, 21-13). Table tennis match (Boys) was won by New Age College with scores (3-2) from Bhaskar Degree College.
In the girls Volleyball final match, Bhaskar Degree  College, Udhampur won by defeating Bhartiya College of Education Udhampur. I
n boy’s category, first match was played between New Age College of education, Billawar and Rajiv Gandhi College of Education, Kathua. The winner was New Age college of Education, Billawar. In the second match Bhartiya College of Education defeated Bhaskar degree college Udharnpur. Final match was played between New Age College of Education, Billawar and Bhartiya College of education, Udhampur and the winner was Host College, with 3-2 straight sets (25-27, 25-19, 16-25, 25-21, 15-13) scores.
Ashok Kumar, Director Sports, Shree Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra was the chief guest on the occasion, Dr K.C Sharma renowned surgeon and social worker were the guests on the occasion.
The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the College management and faculty for organizing such meet.
Manik Nargotra, Shashi Kumar Sharma and Raman Kumar acted as referees.
The programme was compered by College Physical Director, Rajesh Verma and vote of thanks was presented by Shiva Padha.
Prizes were also given to the participants.
