Bhargava Public School Samba holds Craft Workshop

SAMBA, Aug 23: Bhargava Public School, Samba, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Child Development under Mission Shakti Sankalp, inaugurated a 10-day Workshop-cum-Training Program for students of Classes IX to XII.
The workshop focuses on upcycling common household waste such as newspapers, plastic bottles, glass jars, cardboard and tin cans into artistic masterpieces. The event was inaugurated by Ruchi Thakur (District Mission Coordinator), Mansi Abrol (Gender Specialist) and Ravi Kumar (Supervisor, REACHA Foundation), in the presence of the school’s Chairman, Principal, staff and students.
Principal Subhash Kumar Baldotra encouraged the 40 enrolled students to participate actively, highlighting opportunities to earn by showcasing their creations online. The workshop is being led by experienced resource person Mamta Devi. Chairman Rajesh Sharma thanked REACHA Foundation and the Social Welfare Department for empowering the students.
