Bar Asso Cricket tourney sees spirited participation

JAMMU, Mar 29: The Annual Sports Meet 2026 of the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu entered its second day today, drawing enthusiastic participation from bar members and their families.
The sports meet was attended by the members of the civil society, including President of Jammu Civil Society Forum and President of Chamber of Traders Federation Neeraj Anand alongwith his team members, President of the Amar Shatriya Rajput Sabha Narayan Singh, and Treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rajesh Gupta.
President of Bar Association Nirmal K. Kotwal Senior Advocate along with Vice President Baldev Singh, General Secretary Pardeep Manjotra, Joint Secretary Anshu Mahajan and Treasure Rahul Aggarwal welcomed the members of Civil Society and gave a message of unity and togetherness.
On day two of the tournament, four cricket matches were played. The first match was played between Thakur XI and Friends Cricket Club, in which Friends Cricket XI led by Ravinder Singh Chib won the match.
The second match was played between Samba XI and Thunder Titans XI RS Pura, in which Samba XI, the team led by Ajay Singh Charak won the match while defending the highest total of the tournament, 147.
The third match was played between Fire XI and Manhas XI in which team Manhas XI led by Amarvir Manhas won the match while chasing the target. The last match of the day was played between Bharadwaj XI and Chenab XI in which team Chenab XI led by Joginder Singh Thakur won the match.
