JAMMU, Sept 24: Inter Collegiate Badminton (men and women) Tourney of CLUJ organized by the Department of Students Welfare witnessed exciting matches at Government MAM College, here.
On the occasion, Dr Geetanjali A Rana, Dean Arts was the chief guest while Prof PK Sharma, Principal, MAM College was the guest of honour.
In men section, Government SPMR College of Commerce defeated Government College of Education by 3-1 in the first match and in the second match, Government MAM College Jammu beats GGM Science College Jammu by 3-1.
In women section, Government College of Education defeated Government SPMR College of Commerce, Jammu in the first match, whereas in the second match, GCW Gandhi Nagar College beat GGM Science College by 2-0.
Tomorrow the final match will be played between MAM College and Commerce College in mens section and in womens section, GCW Gandhi Nagar will take on Government College of Education.
Dr Twinkle Suri, Dean Students Welfare, CLUJ, Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator, Dr Anil Ganjoo, DIQA, Dr Banpreet Kour, Associate Dean Students Welfare, Sunesh Sharma, Physical Director, Government MAM College Jammu, Aijaz Malik, Physical Director, Government SPMR College of Commerce, Dr Mandeep Singh, Physical Director, Government College of Education, Dr Roopali Slathia, Physical Director, GCW Gandhi Nagar, Neelam Chalotra, Assistant Physical Director, Government MAM College, Pwan Giri, Assistant Physical Director, GGM Science College, Jammu and Anil Kumar, Assistant Physical Director, GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu were present on the occasion.
The matches were officiated by Rahul and Balbir under the supervision of Vikram Singh, Physical Director.
