Asmita Wushu Women’s City League, District Jammu C’ship culminate

JAMMU, Dec 6: Asmita Wushu Women’s City League and District Jammu Wushu Championship culminated today with a spectacular display of skill and sportsmanship. Around 600 participants competed, making it one of the largest district-level Wushu events in recent years.
Khelo India Centre, Bhagwati Nagar emerged as overall champions in the City League, while the Academy of Wushu claimed the top spot in the District Championship.
Vijay Saraf, President, Wushu Association of J&K, presented medals and trophies, praising District Jammu Wushu Association for their excellent organisation and congratulating the participants. Bhavneet, General Secretary, Wushu Association of J&K and Dr Deepika Rajput, Principal of KNIT Green Model Academy, attended as guest of honour and special guest respectively, appreciating efforts to promote Wushu in the region. Other dignitaries present included Vaishali, Kamal Kishore, Ajay Paul Gill, Ritika Singh, Lalit Singh, Arun Singh Charla, Rohit Thakurli and Sher Bahadur.
