Asmita Pencak Silat Women’s League 2025 concludes

BUDGAM, Nov 21: The Asmita Pencak Silat Women’s League 2025 concluded at the Indoor Stadium, here today. The two-day event witnessed participation of around 250 athletes competing in Singa, Maccan, Pre-Teen, Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior categories.
The opening ceremony was graced by Professor (Dr.) Muhammad Amin Malik, Principal of Government Degree College Budgam, who lauded the organizers and participants for promoting women empowerment through sports. The league drew a large gathering of dignitaries, teachers, parents, and sports enthusiasts.
Organized by the District Budgam Pencak Silat Association, the event highlighted the core values of Pencak Silat — respect, self-control, and perseverance. Saima Jan, President of the Association, appreciated the dedication and performance of all participants, encouraging them to continue pursuing excellence.
