KUPWARA, Nov 25: The ASMITA Pencak Silat League 2025 culminated today with an energetic and emotional closing ceremony at the Indoor Sports Hall, Handwara, Kupwara. The event, which showcased the extraordinary talent of young female athletes from the region, was attended by hundreds of spectators.
The event saw around 200 girls competing in multiple categories, from Singa to Macan, Pre-Teen to Senior. The biggest highlight of the day was the announcement of the championship results: The results are Overall Champion: AIIMS Handwara, 1st Runner-Up: Monarch School Handwara and 2nd Runner-Up: Rose Garden Hangah.
The ceremony turned into a celebration of empowerment, with medals and accolades for the top performers. The ASMITA Pencak Silat League 2025 has set a new standard for sports development in Kupwara, inspiring young girls to dream big and achieve greatness.
