JAMMU, June 6: Rashtriya Rifles battalion, under Romeo Force, distributed computers and furniture to the students of Government Middle School, Dabrote, and Govt Primary School, Galuthi today.
Computers and furniture items including computer tables, desks and chairs were presented to these schools in the presence of school staff, parents and villagers.
Teachers and parents of the children thanked the Indian Army for providing the furniture items to these Schools and said that such initiatives by the Indian Army will have a very positive influence on the children.
Arshid Hussain and Taseem Akhtar, the Headmasters of Govt Middle School, Dabrote and Govt Primary School, Galuthi respectively alongwith Mohd Yaasin, Sarpanch of Dabrote spoke on the occasion and thanked the Indian Army for providing the infrastructure to the Schools.
They further added that such projects have strengthened the bond between the locals and the Indian Army.
