Army organizes Painting, Debate competitions

KALAKOTE, Sept 15: Rashtriya Rifle Battalion organized Painting and Debate competitions, in which students from various schools participated actively.
The competition was inaugurated by Commanding Officer of RR Battalion. While speaking, CO emphasized on the need to develop skills of public speaking and motivated the participants to take maximum benefits out of such events.
In Painting competition, 1st to 5th class category, Ritik Bhardwaj of VSKH School Kalakote got 1st prize, Sonika Kumari of GGH School, Kalakote bagged 2nd prize and Durdhana Akhtar of GGH School, Kalakote secured 3rd prize. The consolation prize was given to Udbhav Sharma of SSRR Memorial School, Kurrah.  In 6th to 8th class category, Sunakshi Thakur of Dream Land Public High School, Teryath got 1st prize, Suhasini Sharma of GGM School, Sialsui bagged 2nd prize and Aquib Perwaiz of GH School, Tatapani secured 3rd prize. The consolation prize was given to Neetika of GHS School, Solki. In 9th to 12th class category, Priyanka Kumari of GHS School, Mahogala bagged 1st prize, Diksha Mahla of  GHS School, Mahogala secured 2nd prize and Reetika Mehta of GHS School, Mahogala claimed 3rd prize. The consolation prize was conferred to Lalit Sharma of GHS School, Solki.
In Debate competition, 1st to 5th class category, Udhav Sharma of SSRR Memorial School, Dishal Thakur of DLPH School, Triyath and Sandeep Singh of GMS, Khangel, bagged first, second and third positions respectively. The consolation prize was conferred to Priyanka Thakur of GMS, Dhalyote.  In 6th to 8th class category, Azardin of GMS School, Dhalyot, Sonakshi Thakur of DLP School, Taryath and Mohd Shakeel of GM School Dhalyot secured first, second and third positions respectively. The consolation prize was secured by Neetika of HS School Solki. In 9th to 12th class category, Karan Sharma of GHS School, Solki bagged 1st prize, Aarti of  GHS School, Kalakote secured 2nd prize and Rekha Sharma of GHS School, Solki claimed 3rd prize. The consolation prize was conferred to Diksha Kapoor of GHS School, Mahogala.
