Army organises Youth Festival

JAMMU, Mar 3: A mega Youth Festival ‘Iris  Anantnag 2020’ was organised at Anantnag Highground under the aegis of 1 Rashtriya Rifle Battalion (Mahar) as part of the Army’s Sadbhavana initiative towards bridging the civil-military gap and provide an ‘icebreaker’ moment for the students and youth of South Kashmir to enjoy a never before cultural extravaganza.
The theme of the Festival was ‘Unity in Diversity’.
The fest was set against the backdrop of a musical entertainment which also covered a constructive agenda of motivating youth towards society building and career counselling ranging from Government jobs to entrepreneurship opportunities.
The occasion was graced by Major General Anindya Sen Gupta, YSM, General Officer Commanding, Victor Force.
