Army organises run for fun

RAJOURI,  Apr 24:  Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under Romeo Force, organised ‘Run for Fun’ for school children at village Khoriwali, district Rajouri, today, to promote sports-cum-health awareness amongst the children residing in far flung areas.
The event was inaugurated by Abdul Qaiyum, Sarpanch, who said that such events help to create the atmosphere of peace and harmony. He also extended his whole hearted support for organizing the event.
Shakeel Ahmed, Principal, Government School, Dharal said that the children and locals of Dharal are very grateful to the Indian Army for organising such an event. He added that this effort of the Indian Army will certainly encourage the children to participate in education cum sports activities.
The event was witnessed by a large number of students, their parents, teachers and prominent civilians of the region.
