JAMMU, Dec 23: The Crossed Sword Division today organised a cycle rally in continuation of celebration of National Energy Conservation Day.
The rally was organised with the aim of creating awareness about resources especially aiming in addressing the issue of energy resources becoming scarce. The rally was flagged off from the bank of River Chenab.
The cyclists passed through the number of villages before concluding at Govt Public School, Pangali.
The rally was attended by a total of 50 persons including students and teachers of Govt High School, Hamirpur Sidhar and Govt Middle School, Pangali.
The students and teachers expressed their gratitude towards Indian Army for its endeavours in the field of the education and fitness.
