LEH, July 13: The Army organized a bike rally from Kumbathang to Randhawa Top today to commemorate the 26th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, paying tribute to the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during Operation Vijay in 1999.
A total of 50 riders participated in the rally, traversing the challenging terrain of Ladakh with unwavering resolve and patriotic spirit. The rally was a powerful reminder of the courage and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces and aimed to inspire the younger generation with values of national pride, unity, and sacrifice.
The bikers’ journey to Randhawa Top stood as a symbolic tribute to the grit and determination that led to India’s victory in the Kargil War. It also highlighted the Army’s ongoing commitment to honouring its fallen heroes and keeping their legacy alive. The event is part of a series of nationwide commemorative activities ahead of Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26.
