APSJC celebrates 36th Raising Day of AWES

JAMMU, Apr 30: APSJC celebrated the 36th Raising Day of AWES, to reiterate its commitments towards the motto of the organization.
The celebration started with the conduct of special assembly wherein the students of classes 1st to 5th shared the importance of the organization.
An array of programmes were lined up for the day which included a welcome song by the school choir, group song by the Primary Wing, patriotic poem recitation, character dramatization of soldiers, a skit based on save earth and the AWES song. The AV hall reverberated with the melodious rendition and patriotism.
The Principal felicitated the students who brought laurels to the school in Hindi & Science Olympiads, Behes – Debate for all. Nandini Angral and Salmeen Hussain Bhat were felicitated for being the best cadet and the best speaker.
Principal Ratna Mallick addressed the students and sensitized them about the AWES and also about the different professional colleges which come under the aegis of AWES.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks by CCA in-charge Pooja Kaul.
