SAMBA, Nov 21: Army Public School Samba conducted its Annual Sports Meet 2025-26, celebrating the spirit of “Ek Ghanta Khel Ke Maidan Mein”. The event commenced today with a warm welcome to the chief guest, Chairman APS Samba, followed by a melodious welcome song and the ceremonial March Past.
The chief guest officially declared the meet open by releasing pigeons, symbolising peace, freedom and young aspirations. The day featured exciting activities across all grades. Balvatika students charmed the audience in Rabbit, Hawaiian and Relay Races, while Classes I and II showcased Hurdle, Balloon Balance, Frog, Lemon and Spoon, Book Balance, and Sack Races. Pre-Primary and Primary students presented graceful Yoga and Wushu displays. Classes III-V participated in 50-metre sprints, three-leg races, frog race and more, accompanied by a vibrant peacock dance.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, felicitating young achievers for their outstanding performances, marking a joyful and energetic celebration of sportsmanship.
