SAMBA, Dec 6: Army Public School (APS) Samba today flagged off a four-day educational tour for 160 students accompanied by 12 teachers. The contingent will visit prestigious national institutions including the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Forest Research Institute (FRI) and Vigyan Bhawan, Dehradun.
The tour aims to provide students with exposure to leadership, administration, science, technology, defence training and environmental studies. Students will interact with officials and faculty, participate in guided tours and engage in group activities designed to deepen their understanding of national institutions and inspire future aspirations.
Before departure, the Chairman APS Samba addressed the students, motivating them to observe, learn, and maintain discipline throughout the journey. He encouraged them to embrace the experience with curiosity and enthusiasm. The Chairman, along with the Principal APS Samba, formally flagged off the contingent from school premises.
