JAMMU, June 24: Army Public School (APS) Samba conducted a two-day workshop focusing on key aspects of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, National Curriculum Framework (NCF), Classroom Management and Competency-Based Lesson Planning.
The workshop aimed at equipping educators with the necessary skills to implement the progressive reforms introduced under NEP 2020. It was conducted in five structured sessions designed to provide in-depth insights and practical approaches for integrating NEP and NCF objectives into daily classroom practices. The sessions also emphasized 21st-century skill development, student engagement strategies, and outcome-based lesson planning.
Certified teacher trainer Anjali Gupta acted as the resource person for the workshop. She led interactive sessions involving group tasks, discussions, and reflective exercises to ensure active participation and deeper understanding among the attendees.
The workshop covered understanding the vision of NEP 2020, strategies for implementing the NCF, classroom management for inclusive education, and designing competency-based lesson plans aligned with learning outcomes.
Principal of APS Samba, Sanjeev Pradhan, highlighted the importance of continuous professional development and praised the enthusiastic participation of faculty members. He said such initiatives are vital to ensure that educators are well-prepared to meet the evolving needs of students. The event concluded with a feedback session and distribution of certificates to participants.
