JAMMU, Jan 20: Army Public School (APS) Ratnuchak achieved a landmark milestone by delivering an outstanding performance at the grand finale of School Youth Ideathon (SYI) 2025, held at Lecture Hall Complex (LHC), IIT Delhi. The achievement reaffirms the school’s sustained commitment to innovation-driven education and experiential learning since 2023.
The prestigious national-level event was graced by eminent dignitaries including Dr Biswajit Saha, Professor and Director – Skill Education, Prof PV Madhusudhan Rao, Department of Design and Mechanical Engineering, IIT Delhi, Shivani Singh Kapoor and Sanjeeva Shivesh, Co-founders of ThinkStartup and Nitin Seth, Global Tech Leader, Entrepreneur and Author.
In recognition of exceptional institutional participation and visionary leadership, Sonal Sharma, Principal, APS Ratnuchak, was conferred the highly coveted Champions – Platinum Award, bringing immense pride to the entire school fraternity.
Adding further laurels, Vishal Sharma, TGT Science, received the SYI Top 125 Mentor Medal and Certificate of Achievement for his exemplary mentorship and guidance. Demonstrating remarkable innovation, creativity and teamwork, Team Future X Trio comprising Aakriti Sharma, Aarav Mahajan and Disha Kumari of Class VIII secured a prestigious place among the SYI Top 125 teams Pan-India, earning medals and certificates of achievement.
Further highlighting the school’s innovation ecosystem, Jyoti Jamwal, PGT Physics, was honoured with the Teacher of Innovation Award for mentoring and generating the maximum number of innovative ideas.
These achievements underscore APS Ratnuchak’s unwavering focus on nurturing creativity, critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills among students and educators, in alignment with the vision of CBSE, AWES, ThinkStartup and MEPSC.
