JAMMU, Aug 2: Army Public School Nagrota celebrated its Leadership and Scholarship Programme with zeal and pride, recognizing student leadership and academic excellence. The event began with a welcome song, lamp lighting ceremony, and an address by Principal Ruchi Bahl.
The occasion was graced by chief guest Brigadier Anurag Tyagi and Vice Chairman Colonel Shitij Sharma. Student leaders were formally conferred with responsibilities as House Captains, Vice Captains, Prefects, and Club Secretaries. The Head Boy administered the Oath to the newly appointed council, affirming commitment to discipline and service.
Academic achievers of Class X and XII were felicitated with Rs 10,000 each, while other meritorious students received Rs 5,000. A special highlight was the Brigadier Govil Scholarship, awarded to Class VIII toppers from the Other Ranks (OR) category.
The school magazine was unveiled by the Chief Guest and Principal, showcasing student achievements. Vice Principal Avinash Mahajan delivered the Vote of Thanks, appreciating the efforts of students, staff, and dignitaries.
