JAMMU, Jan 30: Army Public School, Miran Sahib, celebrated its annual felicitation function with enthusiasm and dignity, recognizing the academic excellence and all-round achievements of its students and teachers. The programme was graced by Brigadier P S Jamwal, Commander 162 Infantry Brigade and Chairman APS Miran Sahib, as the chief guest, who presented certificates and trophies to meritorious students, outstanding teachers, and achievers in co-curricular activities.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Headmistress Mamta Singh, who extended heartfelt greetings to the chief guest and dignitaries. Principal Ritu Sharma presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s achievements, academic progress, and commitment to holistic education.
Students added vibrancy to the occasion with cultural performances and a special yoga display, reflecting the school’s emphasis on discipline, physical fitness, and mental well-being.
The Best House Trophy was awarded to Gulab House in recognition of consistent performance, discipline, and active participation throughout the academic year.
In his address, Brigadier PS Jamwal congratulated all awardees and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the staff and students. He encouraged learners to pursue excellence with perseverance, integrity, and a spirit of service.
The function concluded on an inspiring note, celebrating achievements while reinforcing the values of discipline, commitment and holistic development upheld by Army Public School, Miran Sahib.
