JAMMU, Dec 26: Army Public School Jammu Cantt organised its annual prize distribution ceremony with great enthusiasm and grandeur, celebrating the outstanding achievements of students in academics, sports and extracurricular activities.
The programme commenced with warm welcome of the chief guest and other dignitaries, followed by ceremonial lighting of the lamp symbolising knowledge and enlightenment. Principal Puneet Kour presented the annual report for the academic session 2024-25, highlighting the school’s remarkable accomplishments in academics, sports, cultural activities, and community service, reflecting its commitment to holistic development.
The highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of prizes to meritorious students who excelled in various fields. Teachers were also honoured for their commendable performance and significant contribution towards achieving excellent board results. The cultural segment added vibrancy to the event with a folk dance showcasing the rich heritage of Jammu & Kashmir, followed by energetic dance performances and a soulful musical symphony.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest appreciated the school’s efforts in nurturing young minds through quality, value-based education and motivated students to strive for excellence. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice Principal Manmeet Kaur.
