JAMMU, Feb 5: Army Public School (APS) Damana in collaboration with APS Ahmedabad organised a CBSE Art-Integrated Activity under the Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat flagship programme, celebrating the cultural diversity and unity of India. The cultural exchange programme aimed to promote experiential and joyful learning among students through art, music and heritage.
The programme was ably hosted by Panshul Anand of Class VII C and Nandika Sharma of Class VIII E under the mentorship of Neeru Devi, TGT English and Activity & Level Coordinator (Classes IX & X). The event commenced with a vibrant and reverential presentation of Jammu & Kashmir’s cultural ethos through a captivating folk ballad and folk dance performed by the students of APS Damana under the guidance of Sunny Kumar, TGT Music.
APS Ahmedabad enthralled the audience by showcasing the rich cultural vibrancy of Gujarat through an engaging folk ballad followed by an energetic folk dance performance, reflecting the state’s traditional exuberance. The programme was further enriched by a cultural exhibition displaying Jammu & Kashmir’s intrinsic visual arts, including ethnic paintings, Samavar, Shikara models and traditional cuisines, curated under the guidance of Anju Kumari, TGT Art.
Principal APS Damana, Pushpinder Kaur, lauded the sincere efforts of the students and teachers for fostering collaborative learning and cultural appreciation. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks presented by Pawani Chargotra of Class VI.
