JAMMU, June 5: The Anti-Drugs Premium League 2025, a cricket tournament organized by Hands for Humanity Trust, was inaugurated at MA Stadium, here today, with the aim of spreading awareness against drug abuse through sports.
The event was inaugurated by J&K BJP President Sat Sharma, accompanied by Vice-President & MLA Yudhvir Sethi, General Secretary & MLA Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, Secretary & MLA Arvind Gupta and MLAs Vikram Randhawa, Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat and Surinder Bhagat. Also present were BJP District Presidents Nand Kishore Sharma, Adv. Rajesh Gupta, Naresh Singh Jasrotia and Rinku Choudhary, along with several senior party leaders.
Organized under the leadership of Trust President Anil Bhan and senior member Dr. Makson Tikoo, the league will feature 138 matches across various localities of Jammu until June 19, 2025.
The leaders emphasized the importance of youth engagement through sports to combat drug abuse. They praised the Trust’s efforts in aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a drug-free India and pledged continued support for such community-driven initiatives promoting health, awareness, and discipline among the younger generation.
