Anti-Drug Veteran Cricket League underway

JAMMU, Nov 20: The second day of the inaugural Anti-Drug Jammu Veteran League T20 Cricket Tournament, organized by Samvedna Club under Chairmanship of Keshav Chopra, witnessed a grand inauguration aimed at promoting a drug-free lifestyle among youth.
The ceremony was graced by Arun Gupta, President CCI Jammu; SSP (Rural) Brijesh Sharma and CCI office bearers Anil Gupta, Rajeev Gupta, Manish Gupta, Rajesh Gupta, among others.
Speaking at the event, Arun Gupta emphasized that sports instill discipline and teamwork while fighting drug abuse. Brijesh Sharma highlighted the role of sports in prevention and community engagement. Keshav Chopra stressed celebrating veteran players to inspire youth towards a healthy, drug-free life.
The tournament, running daily until November 29, showcases veteran cricket talent while spreading the anti-drug message. Distinguished guests, including Swati Sharma, Raman Sharma, Sanjay Mahey, Manohar Lal, Rahul Nargotra, Vikas Kumar, Ankit Mahey were also attended the event.
