UDHAMPUR, Sept 1: Anoop Sharma, Faculty at School of Architecture and Landscape Design (SoALD), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) Katra, has secured the prestigious ANRF (Anusandhan National Research Foundation) International Travel Award.
ANRF acts as an apex body under MoE, Govt of India to provide high-level strategic direction to scientific research in the country. ANRF rewarded the grant to support Anoop’s research work dissemination among experts audience during an eminent International Scientific Event in Croatia to be held during October 2025.
Anoop Sharma is currently working on the ‘resource efficiency in constructions’ with special focus on ’embodied impacts and conservation through design and policy advocacy’. With this award, he is due to receive feedback on his work as well as collaborative opportunities on offer with the leading laboratories and experts from academia and industry during the scientific event.
Before this award, Anoop has already earned the scholarship award on conference registration fee, amounting to nearly 800 Euros from the conference organizers, which is only rewarded to one researcher per country.
