Annual Inter Unit Sports C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Nov 1: Annual Inter Unit Sports Championship conducted at Air Force Station Udhampur concluded.
The motto of this annual championship was to build up team-spirit and camaraderie amongst the Air Warriors of the Station.
The three disciplines which were keenly contested by the participants of various lodger units of the Station were Football, Volleyball and Basketball.
The overall champions trophy was won by 39 Wing, AF team.
15 players were selected to represent the Station in the Western Air Command (WAC) Sports Championship, to be held next year.
On the closing ceremony, Group Captain Devendra P Hirani, Station Commander, Air Force Station Udhampur gave away the championship trophy to the winning team.
While speaking, Group Captain Devendra P Hirani, lauded the efforts of the participants and selected players for the Command Championship.
