SRINAGAR, Mar 28: District Anantnag Taekwondo Championships 2025-26 concluded successfully at the Indoor Sports Hall, Bijbehara, after a two-day event held from March 27 to 28 under the “My Youth My Pride” initiative.
Organized by the Taekwondo Association of district Anantnag under the aegis of the J&K Taekwondo Association and the J&K Sports Council, the championship witnessed participation from around 70 players representing various schools and clubs across the district.
The competition was conducted in a professional manner, showcasing the skills, discipline, and sportsmanship of the young athletes.
Mohd Shafi, Manager of Indoor Sports Hall Bijbehara, attended the event as the chief guest, while Nighat, Physical Education Teacher at Oxford School, was the guest of honour.
The technical team, led by Shah Faisal Ali and supported by Farhan Reyaz, Faisal Qadir, Sahil Ahmed Dar, Tehzeeb Ali and Taib Ahmed, ensured smooth and fair conduct of the matches.
