ALSS awards eminent educationists from Jammu

JAMMU, Sept 4: Abraham Lincoln Shiksha Society (ALSS), in a virtual award ceremony, awarded Life time achievement award to eminent educationists from Jammu, who are renowned for their exemplary services in the field of education.
The award ceremony was organized in collaboration with International Delhi Public School (IDPS). First time in Jammu and Kashmir this kind of virtual event takes place. Lt Gen PS Mehta (Retd), a second generation Army officer hailing from Kashmir commissioned into Skinners Horse, was the chief guest of the event.
Those who were presented award are Vijay Puri (academic director Shemford Futuristic School), Dr Arun K Gupta (chairman MIER Group), Dr Renu Gupta (vice chairperson, MIER), KCS Mehta (academic director, IDPS AKhnoor), Manisha Choudhary (chairperson IDPS), Suminder Singh (MD IDPS), Swarn Singh (MD IDPS), Randeep Wazir (principal IDPS), Madhu Abrol (school manager-IDPS) and Guneet Mann (vice principal, IDPS).
Twenty five teachers from different CBSE and Army schools who are passionate and persistent educators and are working in education field with great level of commitment and dedication, were lauded in the function.
