JAMMU, June 1: The All Jammu Prize Money Open Badminton Tournament 2025 culminated at The Sports Arena, Jammu, showcasing the talent of over 130 young shuttlers across Under-13, Under-15, and Under-19 categories for both boys and girls.
The closing ceremony was graced by chief guest Anisa Nabi, Chief Sports Officer, J&K Sports Council, who applauded the high standard of the tournament and the excellent infrastructure, encouraging students to incorporate sports into their daily lives for better health, discipline, and resilience.
The event was further honoured by the presence of guests of honour including Dr. Suminder Singh, Satpal Sharma, Vikram Saini, Divum Gupta, Touseef Ahmed, P.D. Singh, Mohit Gupta, Sahil Bakshi, Romesh Sharma, Markan Mehta and Rishi Khurana, whose support added significance to the occasion.
Secretary of Supersonic Badminton Club, Gurvinder Singh, extended heartfelt thanks to all dignitaries, players, sponsors, and volunteers for their efforts in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the event. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of trophies, medals, and certificates to celebrate the participants’ passion and sportsmanship. The winners of the tournament were Vivaan Chib (U13 Boys), Akshini Manhas (U13 Girls), Kartik (U15 Boys), Paanvi Gupta (U15 Girls), Gopesh Singh (U19 Boys), and Suhani Sharma (U19 Girls), with runners-up including Shaswat, Arya Mahajan, Harsh Sharma, Shranya Sharma, Bhavdeep Singh and Paanvi Gupta respectively.
