JAMMU, Nov 12: The spirit of childhood was celebrated during the Bal Mela (Children’s Fest), which was organized at Air Force School, Satwari, here today. The Fest was inaugurated by the kids from Aganwadi. Dressed in bright clothes, the children cheerfully hopped from one stall to the other relishing the snacks to their heart’s content.
Fest featured spicy and savoury mouthwatering food and a number of exiting games. Stalls exhibiting Science exhibition, Math’s exhibition, Art exhibition made by the Air Force School children were setup.
Swings like the merry–go-round, bouncy, toy train, car and jeep ride also became the centre of attraction for the huge gathering. It was a fun-filled day.
The magic show was also organized on the occasion. Children were seen enjoying the camel and the horse ride.
Air Commodore, Ashutosh Lal, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jammu also announced the winners of the lucky draw at the end of the mela.
